Hello!
This week was awesome!
We weren't that sick. I am sure she just stressed out a little bit because Elder Biddulph called home to get medicine. It's because we went to the hospital 3 times to try to do tests to see if I had worms. Long story short they wouldn't accept the tests that we did. We went home and we just decided to wait until we got home to do the tests. I was just with a little bit of diarrhea. Elder Biddulph was worse, he barfed in the favela hahaha. It was so funny! all of our investigators and recent converts were worried about him. We took the medicine and we are better now.
That is so cool!!!!! that was Sara's dream to come back to CA and live. Where are they going to live?
Sounds like kyle is doing well too! I always heard that if you want to make a lot of money you have to do things for children. Eactly what he is doing with the songs he is writing.
That is crazy about the Boy scout situation. Thomas doesn't have very long to finish.
This week was a pretty slow week because of the conference, but we were able to baptize 2 more! Vanesca and Rosinha. They are friends and family of Samantha who we baptized last week. Things are going really well in this area, but there was a transfer. I am staying and Elder Biddulph was transferred. I will know my new comp this week. Hoping that it will be Elder Jensen. We will see how it turns out, I will let you know next week.
Don't worry about my health, Sister Gonzaga helps a lot, and I wont die haha.
Funny story, we were picking up some people to go to church with us, and a member brought 5 more people. We walked to church in a gang of 14 people or so. The young men are loving us in the ward too because we are baptizing a lot of young women!
This stake is known as the worst stake in the mission. The members are "vagabundos" haha and don't like doing anything. So, watching the conference with them was like watching a soccer game. I am exaggerating obviously, but it was hard. I think my favorite talk was Elder Holland. He is really good!
Also, during the baptism the bishop told Vanesca that she should really date a young man in the ward. Everyone went awkward, then started to laugh. Hope it happens, because she would stay in the church a lot easier!
Anyway, love you guys, just 2 more transfers left!!!!

Hi!
Happy Easter too! The Easter Sunday was alright. haha You wouldn't be very happy knowing that we had to eat at home. The week was awesome though and we were running like crazy. We had a baptism on Wednesday and two on Saturday. It was an awesome week! Conference is this week! we are really excited.
What happens if your visas aren't accepted? Can that even happen?
Don't worry about my visa, I will get it done before you guys get here. Also, I tried to find out elder pajaros info, but the only thing that he has is Facebook. You will have to contact him through Facebook.
I am excited to meet Jaelynn too! I am also excited to see Taylor... even though he still hasn't written me haha.
I think it would be really fun to go and help with the volleyball camps. I would like to. Do I have your permission? haha I  know that you won't want me to go.
So Easter is way different here. Here they have giant chocolate eggs every year. Something that I have never seen in the US. They are way expensive though and not worth it. We bought a small one just to see how it was...
I will send more pictures of us through email too. Elder Biddulph always sends them to me so I will forward them to you.
We went to new beginnings this week. Yes, there were 6 investigators there so we took them there played the piano then ran away. It was pretty funny being there, because it is just girls, but we also took a man investigator to see. They all loved it! There was tons of food for them too. One of our baptism's sister will be baptized this week on the conference Sunday. Should be good! Last week of the transfer!
love you guys!

Hi!
Last week was great! we were able to baptize Vitoria's mom!  Our baptism had some problems. There wasnt any water at the church, so we had to call a water truck to fill up the font. It was awesome! This week we should be able to baptize 4 if we are lucky.
Today we are going to play volleyball at the church. We should have some investigators there and recent converts. I am using my talents to help people be baptized haha. basketball and volleyball. It's funny. Every area that I have already gone, I have baptized someone because of playing sports on pday. I think I was meant to do that and Heavenly Father knew that these people would only be baptized that way.
It's cool how his plan is so perfect.
Yeah, Salvador is right below us. Rachel will have a good time there.
Sara told me a little bit about my classes. It's really hard with practice in the middle of the day.
Will it be easy for Steve to find a teaching job? Is it very competitive?
haha glad that Thomas is excited to speak when I get home! I am too and looks like I am going to Lake Powell too.
The secretary will train the new secretary. He didn't do the work badly, just forgot a lot of things and cost the mission quite a bit of money breaking and doing things how they shouldn't be done...
3 months from today! sounds like you are missing me!
I think Pajaro stopped using his LDS account, and I don't know how to get in touch with him. Only on Facebook Ask to be his friend and talk to him.
The other day we were doing contacts on the street and we met a guy from Argentina. It was so funny because he didn't speak anything of Portuguese. I was able to try to use my Spanish. Didn't work very well because he was drunk, but it was fun!

Also another funny story. Here in the gospel churches there is a lot of screaming and yelling gloria and hallelujah. We were teaching a lady from one of these churches and she asked us if we give glorys to god. Without hesitating I said "gloria" hahaha. It was so funny because she was so serious but Elder Biddulph was just laughing at my side. It was really funny!

Hello!
We were thinking about going to that churrascaria when you guys get here. Maybe the first or second night. Elder Biddulph is still my comp, and everything is going well. We will baptize Vitorias mom this week and 2 other people this next week. Things are going really well. We haven't talked to that lady since that day. haha
I haven't gotten my visa renewed yet, and I cant make sure it happens soon. We never know when it will happen.
I liked the pictures of the apartment. Looks like a good place to live. I am really happy that I will live with Taylor and Jaelynn.
You have been talking with someone from the athletic department? when I was there they always helped a ton.
This week went really well. We did a division with another set of missionaries, and worked really hard.
Our zone is the smallest in the mission. we continue to lose missionaries here because president is starting to open areas that have never been opened before. It's going to be interesting.
We are teaching Vitorias family, and she has a nephew that is 3 years old. He is hilarious. He loves to dance, and likes to comb my hair. Every time we leave the house he yells at us to stay. haha
A new secretary will be called tomorrow. The other elder didn't last very long. Not sure what happened.
Anyway. I am loving the mission, things are great the work is going well, and we are having fun! there is nothing better. For sure I am excited to come home, but I am going to make these last few weeks count!
